What do we do?

Study Day
An ACiP:S study day

Augmentative Communication in Practice: Scotland (ACiP:S) began life in 1991 as a coming together of members of staff from centres with responsibility for AAC services in Scotland to organise a study day providing examples of good practice. The study day has continued, being held almost every autumn since then.

The role of ACiP:S has developed over the past twenty years to include the provision of information on augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) in Scotland, support for services and professionals through ongoing continuing professional development and support for people who use AAC and their families.
